Scripts or ActiveX controls alert in Internet Explorer
Plain and simple, my site uses Scripts (as do most sites on the internet). The only problem is that my site isn't big enough (yet) for Internet Explorer to trust it.
Click on the alert and hit "Allow Blocked Content". You will then be prompted with an "Are you sure?" box, click "Yes". After doing this once, you should not see the alert again while viewing my site. The next time you visit however, this annoying little alert will probably be back. (Thank Microsoft for this one)
The site looks weird when viewed on an iPhone/iTouch.
Something in that particular browser causes the images to "jog" slightly to the side.
The site works perfectly fine, it's just that some of the backgrounds, buttons, & titles look a little off... This should all be fixed when I get around to creating the 'Mobile Style Sheet' which will offer a much better view of the site when not using a full browser...
Tag Cloud disappears in browsers that don't support Flash.
The Tag Cloud I am using requires Flash to work and unfortunately does not "degrade" when it is unavailable.
If you are using a Browser that doesn't support Flash, then there is no solution for the time being... Sorry... However, if you are using one that does & the Tag Cloud still isn't appearing, then you may need to upgrade to the latest version of Flash which you can do here: Flash Player
In Browsers that do not support JavaScript, parts of the site appear different, or are missing.
The internet uses JavaScript... Plain & simple... You can't even use Google without Java... In the unlikely event that your browser actually doesn't support JavaScript, I have tried to add in alternatives where I can, but not everything can be replaced...
Make sure you are using a Browser that supports JavaScript. Make sure that JavaScript is turned on in that Browser. If things still aren't right, you may need to upgrade to the latest version which you can do here: Java
I will try to keep a running list of all
issues & solutions as they arise & are fixed...
If you have a problem that is not listed above, please report it to me with as much
relevant information as possible and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks!
