I have been told that as an audio concept, this piece might actually be contest worthy. It uses too many samples to name, & quite a bit of original work as well. Most everything has been cut up, tempo adjusted, pitch changed, and otherwise manipulated out the wazoo. Created using Pro Tools, Reason, Fruity Loops, & my M-Audio KeyRig 25 USB keyboard.
This piece was a way for me to take what I was learning in a music theory and apply it to actual music creation. What it became was a very stylized (somewhat minimalist) progressive metal piece. Created using Fruity Loops, a few sampled instruments, & my M-Audio KeyRig 25 USB keyboard.
I often find myself experimenting with various audio programs & interesting sounds with no real direction in mind. Because of the lack of direction, & experimentation mind-set, most of the results don't lend themselves to use in other works. Quite a bit of the work ends up being garbage, but the special bits which I feel might have some interest to others will find there way onto here.
