"American Gothic AutoCAD" came about from a much simpler project when I was first learning to use AutoCAD. The original idea was to learn the basic drawing tools and experiment with the program by creating a picture of a farm. It just so happened that I had some spare time that weekend, and the results speak for themselves below. "American Gothic" is one of the most widely recognizable pieces of art work of the 20th century, as well as one of the most parodied. I would like to think that my version takes a somewhat digital approach to the idea of poking fun at this classic.

Please Note:
You will need a copy of AutoCad or equivalent program to view the file.
I would recommend using a post-2006 version of AutoCAD as that is what I used, and more than likely, any other program will make the image look weird.
